Rumor Mill: Facebook to offer music service starting May 21
Kristen Nicole of Mashable.com reports that Facebook may launch a music service on May 21.
Mashable is pretty solid when it comes to rumors, so Facebook must at least be thinking of this. How close they actually are to releasing this service is really anyone’s guess, though.

Operation Gore Watch: Campaign funders from 2000 hold off donations for possible 2008 run
It seems that Al Gore’s backers in 2000 are holding out.
No, I don’t mean they’re not giving me money. In a Washington Times article today, Christina Bellantoni reports that many of his former campaign contributors are withholding their dough until Gore throws his hat in the ring for 2008.

Chicago 2016 Update: No hometown discount for tickets?
A Sun-Times report places estimates for Chicago 2016 tickets as high as $950 for the opening ceremonies.
I find it strange that Chicago 2016 brass aren’t publicizing ticket costs. Then again, I’d be surprised if they actually want people from Chicago attending Olympic events.
