Congratulations Chicago on becoming a finalist for the 2016 Olympics.

I know how excited we were in the UK to be a finalist for 2012, and when we were announced as the winners the whole country had a party.

There are also similar concerns about the transport in London for the 2012 games, but no matter what, just put on the best games ever as we are going to do.

I can easily picture a zealous Daley seizing entire condo buildings, etc, under eminent domain by mayoral decree, for use in an Olympic ceremony that will last a grand total of 12 minutes, only to tear the same buildings down immediately afterwards, “because they weren’t green.”

With the big news on Chicago being selected as a candidate city, Chicagoans can show their Olympic spirit at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.

The Men’s USA Volleyball team will be competing against Bulgaria on June 20 & 21st at the Sears Centre Arena.
