Chicago Epicurean: ‘Top Chef’ coming to Chicago
Posted by Daniel under Chicago Epicurean
Woo-hoo! My favorite show is coming to the Windy City.
Season four of “Top Chef” is now set to be filmed in Chicago.
Here are some potential Quickfire challenges:
1) Maxwell Street Polish/Chicago-style hot dog.
2) Feed hungry tailgaters the most creative football-themed dish at a Bears game. Hell, you can even feed the football team!
3) Food that looks like ivy. (What can you use, spinach? Cilantro? Who knows?)
4) A donut that Chicago cops would like.
Potential elimination challengers:
1) North side vs. South side-themed competition. Dueling dishes?
2) Divide teams by el line colors, make people do something fun.
Rick Bayless should be a celebrity judge, or if the show’s producers want to be snooty-tooty, they could pick Charlie Trotter or Homaru Cantu.
