For this contest, I’m giving away a free copy of Eric Alterman’s “What Liberal Media?: The Truth About Bias and the News.” (Here’s the Amazon Reader link.)

It’s a good book, and it deals with the myth that the media is – and has always had – a liberal streak a mile wide. It’s thorough, and Ralph Nader liked it so much he sent one to every Medill student.

    I’ll be landing in NYC and staying in Brooklyn for a week or so, then I’ll be travelling around.

    I want to get out to Chicago as I have never been there. I also want to see upstate New York, and maybe even get back out to Vegas again.
