For this contest, I’m giving away a free copy of Eric Alterman’s “What Liberal Media?: The Truth About Bias and the News.” (Here’s the Amazon Reader link.)
It’s a good book, and it deals with the myth that the media is - and has always had - a liberal streak a mile wide. It’s thorough, and Ralph Nader liked it so much he sent one to every Medill student.
