Update: Free Frango mints until May 31
Posted by Daniel under Uncategorized
Hey, folks -
So Mollie and I went down to the Macy’s on State Street in Chicago to see if we could get some free Frango chocolates, as per my post on May 16. Turns out, getting the free chocolates is as simple as taking candy from a baby…or chocolates from Macy’s.
Here’s the setup: Macy’s set up two sets of computers, one in the basement cafeteria and one on the first floor near the side elevator, to get people to fill out a survey. The surveys were set up by Macy’s to see how people feel about the new store after the Marshall Field’s buyout. (The computers on each floor have two different sets of questions, but I recommend going downstairs, as the survey is shorter there.)
To my delight, I found that I didn’t have to enter my name into the computer, so Mollie and I each took the survey on the different floors, earning a box of chocolates each time we completed it. (The choices are Frango’s Chocolate Mints, Dark Chocolates and an assorted box.) At the end of the day, we walked out of the store with four pounds of chocolates. And Frango chocolates are goooooooo-oood.
Pretty nifty, huh?

Sweet, I’m so gonna try to make a trip to the downtown Field’s/Macy’s now, so I can get some free Frangos!
Thanks for posting that, since I almost didn’t hear about this…. (and since I also heard it’s only through this week)

And btw, is this only the downtown State St. location doing this, or are all Macy’s/Field’s stores doing this until the 31st?
